Is there anyway to get the downloads to open in a new page. Normally there would be a place to put the "_Blank" tag but i cant find it.

Or is there any way to get rid of the "Download In Progress" page so that it goes straight to the page/download as it would save my visitors from having to click the back button twice.

I prefered the way that MyDownloads worked by opening in a new page and without the please wait 3 seconds for download thing.

hmmm, seems like a long process. And i dont have all the other versions.

I would have upgraded to XOOPS 2 when it was first released but my (old) hosts didnt upgrade the PHP & MySQL at the time. Thus i couldnt upgrade because all i would get was a blank page whenever I tried to install.

But thanks for the info anyway.

Hi There, I used to run an older version of XOOPS (XOOPS 1.0 RC 3.0.5) and have the MySQL data from it and was wondering whether it was posible to move the members over to my new XOOPS site.

If so how would this be done?

Or should I just leave it alone and not bother?

Hi there, I've just installed PD-Links 1.0 and set up the categories but for some strange reason when i add a link to a category its doesnt go in. Instead it just adds the link to the front page of PD-Links.

Any ideas. Someone posted a comment about this in the Module Repository nearly a year ago and didnt get a reply. I think Module developers need to start coming back here and giving people support since module users are XOOPS users after all.

i'm getting the same error on all themes. using XOOPS 2.0.14. Its only happening in the XOOPS admin.

Dont think its causing any problems tho, everything seems to be working fine

I tried but it didnt work. I even changed the fonts to see if it was a cache problem but the changes happened on the fonts so it cant be that.

Oh well, I will just have to be patient.

But thanks anyway.

When i edited the theme.html I didnt need to delete any files in the templates_c directory.

All I did was switched on the "Check templates for modifications ?" before I made any changes. I then changed it back once I could see the changes and was happy.

I wouldnt delete anything in the templates_c directory simply because I dont know much about it yet.

Hi guys, I need a new theme for my new XOOPS site. I've search the Themes library and cant seem to find one that suits my needs as some had certain problems with breaking the forum, and others which looked good but for some strange reason my logo got squashed or stretched and had a white background behind it. This shouldnt happen since the logo is a gif with a transparent background.

So heres the deal, design a theme that would go with this logo

Resized Image

And also has the banner beside it. The logo size must not be changed.

Whoever designs me a theme that works well with the logo and i use it will earn themselves 1,000,000 banner impressions and I will also put a "theme designed by..." bit at the bottom of my site aswell. And if you simply refer me to one and I use it I will give you 100,000 banner impressions.

Thanks in advance...

I've just installed xoops2 and was suprised to find no modules. I thought the normal ones would have been there in the modules folder so i didnt bother looking.

I was needing:

News
NewBB
Xoops Polls
MyDownloads
weblinks

For some reason i have found only 3 of them, i've still to find XOOPS Polls & MyDownloads. There should be URL's to these modules in a ReadMe file in the XOOPS install pack in my opinion.
