I set the homepage to index.php and find that the latest news section is too simple. There are several story topics. And I want to display each of them in an individual block. So the homepage should look like this:

(Assume Story topics are Site News, Software News, Hardware News)

-Site News -------
news 1
news 2

-Software News ------
news 1
news 2

-Hardware News -----
news 1
news 2
------------------------

I don't think so, the error is still there after turning it on.

The site resumes after I port it to Apache.

So this is IIS's problem

I got the same problem. The server is windows 2k with IIS. After configuring database, it shows "Could not write into mainfile.php".

The site was hosted on win2k and had no problem. All these problem happen after I upgrade the server and reinstall win2k server.

Can any one tell me is there an error log or something I can debug? The homepage is just blank even I udpate the mainfile manually.
