I have given all permissions everyway possible.Though when I choose edit the block I dont have a usergroup choice at that part of admin.My permissions exist in cbb permissions. I have no block permissions choice whatsoever.

I have triple checked all permissions and searched for any topic about bugs and I cannot come up with a solution for this problem.My recent topics block is only visible to the webmaster. All others such as anonymous users and registered users cannot see the block on the top page.Does anyone know what I might be missing or if this is a bug? Maybe a workaround is known.I would appreciate any help.

I was able to use webmaster and admin.You must know that I am very grateful.It is a somewhat frivolous site but it is important to me.Thank you very much.I will make a donation to the site to help support the wonderful work of the open source community.If it wouldn't be too much trouble could you give a brief synopsis of the problem so I and others can gain some knowledge.Once again I appreciate the time you have given me.I wish you all the best weather in Nova Scotia too.

Yes my email address is correct and lost password function still results in incorrect login .This all started when I checked the ldap box and then logged out.But during that session I was also doing module installations and removal.

Is there anyone that can help? Apparently something has gone terribly wrong.All members including me are prevented from logging in.Even new ones. We get an incorrect login message.I have tried changing my password in the sql db to no avail.If I replace each XOOPS file in the db in hopes of finding a corrupt file would that work maybe? Could a missing module cause something like this? It seems we cant be authenticated in some way. And lastly it happened just after I announced site.Could I have been hacked?

I am really starting to get worried here.Does anyone have a pointer? I dont want to do a fresh install.Any help would be appreciated.After reading a bit about ldap I am even more confused.I do have access to the database and mysql.If I could just get a pointer as to what values I screwed up.
