Is it possible to modifly the wfsections module to enable us to sort articles by author as well? how?

User Registration Related Question

Is there a way to make the fileds that appear when a new user is registering to be the same as the ones he gets when editing his/her account? I.e. I want the user to fill all the fields when he registers the first time instead of registering and then going to edit account to fill information such as location, signature, etc.

I cloned the sections module and called it another name. Everything is working fine except that the search engine does not pick up the cloned module. Is there any way to fix that?

How to Reverse Order of Articles in Sections

Right now with the sections module, the articles added last are displayed last in the list of articles. I would like to reverse this order so that the latest added article will show on top. Any ideas?

I second the need to be able to display the latest X news or sections articles in their own blocks. Also the billing idea would be a valuable addition.

Thanks for the reply Herko! I went through the comments thread and unfortunately he does not have the details of how he did that (great site though!). He mentioned that he might make those hacked modules he used available for download. Any idea when might that happen?

News Topic in Own Block

Hi,

I am trying to group similar stories under a specific topic in a single block (i.e. block will only contain stories belonging to a specific topic ID). I tried using the Lycos Zine module, but it is only retrieving one story.

Anyone can help?
