Hi!
To work around this bug:

If numbers of "Users per page" is greater than "total members", the search result appears in one page (no bug because only one page)

Don't forget to change " Users per page" for each search...

Or you can change default value (20) of "Users per page" in

Modules/profile/search.php
line 24

$limit_default 20;

change 20 to 500 for example.

Hello!

@Monika did you try my method for birthday?

Quote:

Nota: In “Find Users” (profile/search.php)
There is a little bug:
If value is set as NUM, (value as integer)

The selection is OK but column is empty (does not show the content of the field

I've fond the way to fix this (little) problem:

These fields are numeric

I made something like this:

01 for January
02 for February
03 for March

Because of this is numeric fields you don't have to write the Zero before the number.
If you do so (this way)

1 for January
2 for February
3 for March

etc...

In Find Users the result appears!

Hello !

I’ve found a bug in Profile…
If you have more than 20 members to find and you make a search of this members in
Find Users (/profile/search.php)
The first page is ok: number of “users found” is correct
The list show the selected members

But if there is more than one page to show,
the next pages show something different:

Number of “users found” is not corect (equal to total “active users”)
The list shows all members.

Add a field "Countries" in PROFILE

We can add fields “timezone” in Profile very easely.

In the same way it could be interesting to add a field “countries”.

For this we can use the countries list from : class/xoopslists.php

It could be helpfull to add this list to Profile:
By this way when we will add a field "countries" all countries are already configured. Instead of add the countries one by one.

What do you think about that?

Up!

“Registration Steps” is a very good tool.
I like this step by step registration.
It allows you to have shorts section with an explicit title.

But if members stop the registration after the first step
the acount is created.

15% of members did stop the registration form at the end of the first step.

So the account is created (pseudo & email)
the fields of next steps are empty (even the required files).

In admin : If you set “Save after step” = “No”

The user can't save the profile :
Message :
Quote:
“The process has been expired, please go back to try again.”

How can we fix that?

Thank you for your help!

Profile module: stages of registration

Hello!

I set 5 registration steps when creating the user file
If for each stage the "Save after step" is not "yes", the member will not be created:
at validation of the step, the following message appears:
“The process has been expired, please go back to try again.”

But if you save after each step, the user may suspend the registration procedure and form is created without having filled the required fields of the following steps.

It seems that the option "Save after step" should always be "yes" to save user profile.

Is it possible to generate the profile after validation of all steps?

EDT: But it is a waiting solution...

before to find a way to make a date mandatory...

I understand the problem, there should be check to see if date was changed or not, maybe in JS validation code.
