The obvious questions:
Have you reviewed the System Admin > User Info Settings?Allow new user registration = yes
Activation type = auto

it's all ok...like I said...we didn't touch anything

Check System Admin > Find Users - do you have inactive users?

yes, we have them...4 at this time...but not the ones we are getting e-mail for that they are registerd...we shouldn't get an e-mail at all, and for which we get an e-mail, they are not registered

Hi guys!

It's www.sajt.com.hr drew again

For a couple of days we don't have new registered user on the site. We thought it was a coincidence but...NOT. as we checked admin mail there were 6 demands for new passwords. that alone was fishy, because that people should me registered if they want a new password.

so, we made a test account...and it wouldn't register even if it is stated that by our site. We weren't registered as new members but everything went ok. so, we tried with our admin name and pass...and now that doesn't work.
so we send a demand to us for a new password and now we can enter as admins again...but we still can't get new members

so, what's the problem...we really didn't mess with anything on the site...help!

when myself(as an admin) and users click on ''Membership'' to see how many people is registered there are 14 pages...10 persons per page...but the problem is: you can see only the 10 first registered users...you can't scroll the other 13 pages of members....I tryed updateing, and reinstalling....didn't help...

we still can't solve this problem...who should we turned to if we bored you crazy enough?

We are talking about the xmmemberstats module?

I really thought it was just the access settings for anonymous in the admin/system/groups. They need access to the module but if you don't want them to see the block then you just un-check the block permissions. But still leaving them with access to the module. At this point you might try uninstalling it completely, downloading it from a different mirror and reinstalling it to your site then set the permissions at mentioned. I haven't ever seen or heard it having this problem before.

Quest

yes that's it!!!!

it was about the permission for annonymus...if they can see the modeule we can see how many guests there is

thanx everybody

the file is in 'XooPS/modules/xmmemberstats/blocks/membership_block.php' , its a php file. not a template file

we did it through ftp client saved it...and it doesn't work

is there any other module for displaying number of members on the page, I guess we have a big problem with this, I don't know what to do anymore
