Core.???? Files In root dir

I have just noticed some core.??? files under my XOOPS root directory. Some of the file names are: core.8989, core.765, core.7806 etc. Each of them has the same file size of 36.14 MB. These files have been created recently, i.e. today and yesterday. There are strange characters in those files, its not a text file.

I havn't installed\modified any of the modules\blocks\themes recently.

I am using XOOPS 2.0.16.

Any ideas what kinda files are these?

how to trim every thing until a match within a php string.

e.g.
$x = "I would like to trim every thing until here okie"

and the output should be " Okie"

I dont you can setup cron jobs on godaddy.com ?


You don't have to take it, its just my suggestion: google analytics have some kewl stats, with graphs and flashy stats.
