Got it...

And to be precise on the General Settings there's an option to define the Admin Mail - this is where you can put in Activation@mydomain.com

Hello

I wanted to ask how do I edit/change the email address for sending the activation email for users?

Suppose I'd like to send it from

activation@mydomain.com

How do I do that? How do I edit that in Xoops?

I appreciate any help about it

Thanks

Already done.

Look here

Version 2.0.16 has SQL injection and there are 3 places where people can hack through - could it be that the hacker has done it from one of those 3 places?

I've crossed between the hours of the changes and and the raw access logs but i couldn't find anything suspicious.

where is it most likely to get an SQL injection in version 2.0.16?

My site has been hacked even though I have the Protector module installed.

If anyone could help me here or via email I'll appreciate it

Okay got it - you need to use PHPMYADMIN and change any user to the UID that you had (User ID #)

mine was 1 so I change my testuser to 1, that's all

Thanks and please mods pass this info to all others or bookmark it, I think it's a very value info
