Hi

Can anyone tell me how to get the images management work?

I want to be able to insert images to my documents (Content/Article modules), I know in Content/Article, there is a button to click and type in the url for the image, but before this point I need to upload the image to a url (uploads directory on the server). So I go admin/images/ and added a directory, with access/admin right set up, then I also uploaded some images to that directory. So far so good, BUT the directory is no way to be seen, it is NOT inside the Uploads folder.

Where are the images?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

OK,

At the moment the "Mypage" module is the content of my homepage, follow the good advice here, I added a new center block "Recent News" and made it visiable, therefore I can see both "Recent News" and "mypage" on the homepage which is great. The only problem is that, the News block is on top of Mypage. Can anyone help me to change them so Mypage on top (first) and then Recent News after (Bottom).

Also any links to the guid of customised block building?

Many thanks

Thank you davidl2, The article module is good but may be a bit too much for my need. I have chosen Content module for my basic text/image pages.

But the only thing I need from Content module is the permission. I can't set permissions for category(ies) of documents to be viewed only for some group of members. I am wondering if anyone can help on this, or if Content module could provide permission?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Does anyone know how to remove the "url:http://......" link from the bottom of the page of view.article on Article module? I can remove the trackback by command out few lines on view.article.php but couldn't fine anywhere (or more then one places) to remove the URL link.

Thanks

Thanks folks,

Lots suggestions here, but is there a simple way to do this? in Maxdev, there is an Admin Message module, that I can show up on the home page AS WELL AS other modules such as News. So therefore, I can design the admin message page as an information with links to different part of the website, then still have the News items on the home page at the same time.

Thanks

River
