It works perfectly now - back to normal! I'd never have been able to fix that in a month of Sundays. Thank you very much indeed I checked all the other pages and it hasn't affected anything else for me.

I updated the user group/block permissions but my top page blocks are still in the wrong order

When I upgraded only some of the upgrades went ahead. The others had ticks against them already. Relevant?

Thank you - I suspected that. Would it be possible for there to be a smartsection block which showed recent comments only for the smartsection module? Which also took into account the article permission status?

Hopefully over a year later, someone has fixed this problem!!!!

I have the new version of smartsection and XOOPS and it's still the same

P.S. In the meantime I changed system_block_comments.html as follows:

On my home page I have several blocks. The ones in the CENTRE are in the wrong order now (having upgraded from 2.0.x to 2.3.2a). The top one's at the bottom and vice versa. But ONLY FOR ANON USERS! Once I log in all's well! (whether as reg user or admin).

I know about the weight numbers which can be given to each block, but these are set correctly.

Any advice? Thanks.

I'm using multimenu 1.82 with 2.3.2a and it seems to work OK.

Thank you very much for your extremely quick response. I added the code, but it didn't have any effect. I am using the latest version of smartsection and XOOPS 2.0.16 (although the same issue was there with older versions of each). Do you have any further advice? Thanks.

Here's what the code looks like now, just to check I added it correctly... [removed the code as it messed up the page formatting!]
