I want to thank everyone for helping us.

Question:

When I add the precheck to the mainfile.php all I get is a blank page. I still have no IP ban set.

What would cause this?

Here is what I have....

define('XOOPS_GROUP_ADMIN', '1');
define('XOOPS_GROUP_USERS', '2');
define('XOOPS_GROUP_ANONYMOUS', '3');

include( XOOPS_ROOT_PATH . '/modules/protector/include/precheck.inc.php' ) ;
if (!isset($xoopsOption['nocommon']) && XOOPS_ROOT_PATH != '' ) {
include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/include/common.php";
}

foreach ( array('GLOBALS', '_SESSION', 'HTTP_SESSION_VARS', '_GET', 'HTTP_GET_VARS', '_POST', 'HTTP_POST_VARS', '_COOKIE', 'HTTP_COOKIE_VARS', '_REQUEST', '_SERVER', 'HTTP_SERVER_VARS', '_ENV', 'HTTP_ENV_VARS', '_FILES', 'HTTP_POST_FILES', 'xoopsDB', 'xoopsUser', 'xoopsUserId', 'xoopsUserGroups', 'xoopsUserIsAdmin', 'xoopsConfig', 'xoopsOption', 'xoopsModule', 'xoopsModuleConfig', 'xoopsRequestUri') as $bad_global ) {
if ( isset( $_REQUEST[$bad_global] ) ) {
header( 'Location: '.XOOPS_URL.'/' );
exit();
}
}

if (!isset($xoopsOption['nocommon']) && XOOPS_ROOT_PATH != '') {
include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/include/common.php";
}
}
?>

Thank you all again.

I followed what instructions I could find on this site but I am having a problem..
If I add the line....

if (!isset($xoopsOption['nocommon'])) {
include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH."/include/common.php";
}

all I get is a blank screen. I have no IP's banned set.

I also could use some info on this....

'register_globals' : off ok

'allow_url_fopen' : on Not secure
This setting allows attackers to execute arbitrary scripts on remote servers.
Only administrator can change this option.
If you are an admin, edit php.ini or httpd.conf.
Sample of httpd.conf:
php_admin_flag allow_url_fopen off
Else, claim it to your administrators.

'session.use_trans_sid' : off ok

'XOOPS_DB_PREFIX' : XOOPS Not secure
This setting invites 'SQL Injections'.
Don't forget turning 'Force sanitizing *' on in this module's preferences.
Go to prefix manager

'mainfile.php' : missing postcheck Not secure
You should edit your mainfile.php like written in README.

'Password for rescue' : ok

How do I correct this?

Thanks for any help.

Im trying to add a form mailer to our site.
I've tried every module I can find on the XOOPS site. Nothing works. Contact set up find but didn't email the filled in fields. None of the rest even set up right.

Any info on a module that would work would be great.

Info...

Xoops: 2.0.15
Php: 5.0.5
MySql: 4.1.21-standard
Perl: 5.8.5
System: Linux
Apache: v1.3.37 (Unix)

Thank You

M1

after our forums has a subject.....each reply has aits own link. Can this be changed to where the replys are listed without having to click on the reply.

Thanks

OK, I went to my site and all the blocks were gone, and the files in the server were messed up.
NP. I deleted the entire site download the newest version and reuploaded xoops. Worked fine "EXCEPT" no blocks show. Not even the log-in. (yes they were set to visible)
After awhile I figured screw it. I deleted it and uploaded ver. 2.0.13.1

Install went fine "EXCEPT" no log-in for admin at the end of the set-up.
I have been trying for awhile now and am at the point that I need help or idea's.

Nothing has changed on the server because I have 2 church sites up and there running fine.

Any Idea's would be "GREAT"

Thanks
Patrick
