I couldn't see any problems either when viewed with FF or IE.

I assume you are referring to the 'Member Since' date in your user profile. This is held in the 'users' table in the field 'user_regdate'. You'll have to work out what date you want and change the value accordingly.

As a help, 2006/6/20 15:51 is 1150815114, I believe this is the UNIX time, see UNIX time on Wikipedia.

It may take a bit of working out but you need to add/subtract the number of seconds to get your desired date.

Can you give a little more information? Have you tried accessing admin for example (/admin.php) and if so what does it say? What about directly accessing other pages (/register.php)? It could be a problem with your start module, or any number of other things. Is your webmaster user in the database?

najmead, it should be fairly simple to change the email validation if you're really bothered by this.

Personally I don't think its a big issue, however if you want to keep ALL of your users happy then why not.

I've been having the same problem for the last day or so and found that the solution was to re-configure my firewall (Norton Internet Security).

I had to change the Privacy Control option to uncheck the Enable Browser Privacy Control.

I believe that this allows publication of OS and browser type, version, etc, but probably includes others too.

Problem resolved.
