News: image manager with thumbnailing

Many users of XOOPS search hack to make "Image manager" more useful, lot of them don't find good reason.

It's a list of very useful modyfications which i found on this forum:

1. Great integration with MyAlbum mod which make Image Manager very useful

2. Simply hach, which allow Image Manager to make thumbnails

3. Auto thumbnailing images from URL


In my opinion the first option is the best. If anyone has better modyfication put it on this post.

There are themes for XOOPS but none for NewBB I think... Could You give me one example of them for NewBB.

Using this themes we modify only colors, I search modifications of html themes located in modules/newbb/themes which allow to change all things.

standard NewBB theme looks not good. Is it possible to download from internet any other theme for this forum ?

Image better uploading

Hello,

I want to make my News module more usefull, the standard (dhtml) uploading and attaching images in News module take too much time and has small options.

I'm searching hack or editor which allows to fast uploading and inserting images (like in WordPress) maybe based on AJAX.

I will be so glad if it will be possible to open images in new windows and create auto-thumbnails.

Could anyone give me some advices ?

Thanks, i think tahat WF-Links will be the best to modify.

I have another one question, i use "Short URLs" for SEO optimization. My urls look like

http://domain.com/wflinks+vievcat+1.htm

I want change it for:

http://domain.com/wflinks/vievcat/1

exist any realesed hack for this modyfication ?

i would like to start a web host directory based on XOOPS and i ask You which module will similar to this script:

I know that I will have to modify a lot of things but i think that module to present links with possibilty of rating/commenting them will be the best for my plans?

Example:

News module - 1'000 visits
Main Page - 2'200 visits
Edit module - 500 visits

Has someone knew anything about this ?

You wrong understand me i wont add function do article.php, which will be doing it automatically.

Hello guys i have installed a hack "related articles" in module News. I'm describeing news by some keywords in table, ex. firefox, firefox1.5, firefox final...

Now i want underline the same words (in article) which i have in keywords (saved in table).

Could some one help me ?
