changing text color in KHat

Within what file is it specified the default color for the chat block? If it isn't, what file should I add it? To the template or a php file somewhere?

Yeap, the Background color was different in the styleNN.css file versus the style.css.

Different colors for different Browsers - How do you make them the same?

If the Page is viewed by IE it's one color, if the Page is viewed by Mozilla, it's another, how do I make them the Same?

I found where it is, It exists in ./html/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php

There is a line that that adds the Users signature, and where the line is supposed to add there was just a br /. So I added the line and all good.

The line that seperate signatures from the rest of a persons post has dissapeared, any ideas on where I should look to bring it back? What files might it exist in?

newbb - how signature is displayed

The signature line, displayed in the forums that is edited through the edit user, in what files does this exist?

For example, Lets say I want directly above the signature to display the usersname, in what files to I need to add this so that EVERY post this user makes it shows their signature AND their name?

Fields in user profile

I added about 15 fields to the user profile, and I edited all the files that needed to be changed.

When you load edituser.php it displays the fields, and you can edit them and save them however, when you "view account" the new fields do not display. I added the fields in userinfo.php and system_userinfo.html and then I proceeded to update the system Module.

On my test site "View Account" shows the 15 extra fields, however in the live site it does not. I know the live site has numerous amounts of hacks already to it that I don't know about.

Where should I look first after I know system_userinfo.html and userinfo.php are correctly configured? I looked in themes folders but I still found nothing that would be overwriting my userinfo configs.

Is it possible, based upon the value of an integer variable, to Load Different xoops_root/modules/system/templates/system_userinfo.html ??

This is all for the User account module.

So if a user clicks edit profile, and select 1 in a pull down box, then clicks save, can they load system_userinfo2.html?
Or if they click 2 in the pull downbox can they load system_userinfor3.html??

The reason I ask this, is because for each value of the pull downbox, different types of fields will be represented.

Like for option 1 you could have fields a, b, b.1, b.2 and c. But for option 2, you could have fields e, f, a, d.

Another example.

If the user selected 1, their AIM would show, but their MSN would not. If they selected 2, their MSN would show but their AIM would not.

The thing is I know that edituser.php and userinfo.ph generate all the fields, but the system_userinfo.html is how the tables are created. so if option one has 1 extra field. If the user clicks option 2 their will be just an empty box there for them.

Sorry to ramble on a bit, I hope you get where I am coming from.

Here's where I'm at right now.

I wiped the html folder, dropped the DB, created a new DB, Re-installed XOOPS 2.07. Installed newbb 2.0 beta 3, and installed poll module, the one that comes with xoops2.07.

I can post to the forums and everythingg there works great. I can make polls through the poll module just fine, they can be seen and everything.

However when I try to attached a poll to a forum post, when the forum page reloads I get an empty box with the vote button on the top of the post. I'll try and link a picture of it. When I go into edit the polls the Poll I created in the forums is not there, however there is a blank line poll, that's associated to nothing.

Any Ideas?
