news 1.3 don't show recent articles of subcategories

I use news 1.3 with spotlight and tabbed version, full optionals but there is a problem: for tabbed I have chose only some categories, in particular I have have 4 categories and som sub-categories.

I can choose a news in any categories for spotlight but in 10 recent news appeare only news of selected categories but not the articles of its sub-categories.

How a can show the recent news of all categories?

dhtml with only smiles

I want use XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea in a module, but don't want use XOOPS code for font, images or other, I want render only some smile, like in normal Dhtml area.

My idea is: why don't introduce some property in this class to switch on/off some part of this? or exist another method to do this?

Only an annotation.

I have downlaoded some free avatar, and upload they in SITE_ROOT/uploads/avatars directory. When an user change is avatar the old was removed from DB and phisically from server. This because in user.php there is a control for remove custom avatar, this control is made matching savt at the start of avatar url.

I suggest you to call the directory of your avatars savt, or any other name that begin with savt, so you don't lost 1 avatr any user change

2.0.9.2 problem in user menu.

When I upgrade my XOOPS site to 2.0.7.3 version see that if an user is in a group with administration's perms on some modules the link "administration menu" is not showed.
This problem exist also in 2.0.9.2; in any case the bug seem partially solved: now user can use link www.site.dom/admin.php, but a bug exist... or is only in my xoops?

WFDownloads inherit item of mydownload module?

I would change download module of my XOOPS size from mydownload to wf-download but have an important question: i must manually insert innew module all item that now is in current module?

I hope no, but...

Thanks but the problem is only in my personal installation of PHP and not in my web server (I'm lucky ) and so my traslation work.

I want use agenda-x in my site (in italian) and so write a traslation.

all work for .php file in language directory of module tree but I have problem with .po file. I have created it_IT directory with with LC_MESSAGES subdir, then agendax.po but module ignore it, why?

work around is good, but I think that 2.0.7* is not wery luckey release: in 2.0.7 a bug in footer administration, in 2.0.7.1 this ... the problem is summer?

Module administration permission problem in 2.0.7.1 version

I have a group with permission to administrate only a module (pool module) and all work fine untill 2.0.7 version. some day ago I updated my site to 2.0.7.1 and after to the user in this group don't have anymore administration link in user menu and is not recognized as administrator.
Someone can help me?
