DobePhat:
Regarding piCal.
- Documentation...hmmm...about the same amount as in any other module...
- Flat/List view? There is a list view in piCal 2.60.

- Skin? You can do alot of "tuning" with out "skins".

The only thing piCal does not have is the random picture but I dont rate that as a "heavy feature"...

Do you want to see a piCal in a live site? It's in swedish but you can look at it anyway.

Ps: No, I don't get paid by GIJOE for saying this...

second. Only thumb nail can be shown.., when clicked. the pictures couldn't be shown

I had the same problem when I moved from 2.5 to 2.60 & 2.62.
After several hours fibbling around I think I know, if not the solution at least a workaround...
I think it's becourse GIJOE implemented support for templates.

************************
2003-1-30 v2.61 (small fixes)
- fixed typo in myalbum_imagemanager.html rxcoder -> xcoder fixed (thx Olorin)
- feature changed not to close imagemanager after [img] added (thx Olorin)
- sort by date desc added (thx Collo)
- pagenav bug fixed (thx Collo)

2003-1-28 v2.60 release
- imagemanager integrated with XOOPS core added
- optimization for table view
- Updated swedish (thx Leif Madsen)

2003-1-27 v2.60beta01
- almost of front ends have been rewritten to use template
- selectable from two views of viewcat.php (list & table)
- global group permission added (add, edit, delete, rateview, ratevote)
- notifications added (new photos in global and categories)
- some improvement for admin
- some fix

**************************************
Here is what I did:

The problem has to do with templates. So In System Admin / Template manager / go to the active template, click on myalbum [list]. Now you click remove on all template files. Exit and return to Template manager, do a create list.
That's it (at least for me...)!

As always, take a backup before or at least try it first on a clone templete...

After this action myalbum-P works as supposed to!

In my eyes you really can't compare the two...

PiCal is soo much more competent (reaccuring events, iCal import/export, flexibel, group premissions...) in my opinion.

It's correct that the "original" colors are "not so cool" but it's fully adjustable in the Admin.

The "biggest" thing that I miss in piCal is the category thing but with version 0.60 this is fixed!

Do you wan't to see a site that with piCal installed, check out one of my sites:

Why don't you try piCal instead?

It's superior and has lots of extra features!

Just a thought...

Or you can try GIJOE's module at:

Extensible Waiting Module

****************************************
Description:

This module offers you an extensible waiting contents block into your XOOPS.

The original XOOPS block of "Waiting Contents" works only for official modules,
and is no longer extensible.
It is nonsense to have to do Hack for yourself when you use 3rd party modules.

By installing this module and adding proper plug-ins only,
you as webmaster can confirm any approval waitings of any modules at one view.

The original version is made by Ryuji (http://ryus.joetsu.info/)
This archive is a hacked version by GIJOE.

If you can read Japanese, let's visit Ryuji's site.

Included plug-ins:

system (comments)
news
mydownloads
mylinks
WF-Sections
piCal
myAlbum-P
Agenda-X
xDirectory
yomi-search
simpleblog
myAds
Tutorials

Hi, this is my first post here so please be gentle...

I have a site running XOOPS 1.3.8 with a module myalbum 1.0.2.

I'am going to upgrade XOOPS to 2.0.5.2 and intends to use myalbum-P insteed for myalbum. And I have about 200 pictures with text and comments...

Is there anyone that have done this and knows what's the best route to go?

Should I upgrade myalbum to 1.1.3 and then switch/upgrade to myalbum-P or ???
