Hi,

we are using XOOPS on a school-server.
Is it possible to disable the editing of the account for the real name (only)?
We could avoid some trouble.

Thanks

Marc

Hi there,

Everything seems ok - just no file get uploaded!

I didn´t have the problem. The file was uploaded to the /upload-Folder alright.
But, the download-link doesn´t aim to the uploaded file. Instead of this the link leads to nowhere.
It says:http://myhost/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?cid=1&lid=1
Strange, isn´t it?

Does anyone know a solution?

Thanks
Marc

Hi samuels,

I´ve tested your modificated module. Great!
Too bad, I still have some problems.
The upload of the screenshots works ok.
It tranfers the pictures into the right file: modules/mydownloads/images/shots/

But it isn´t shown in the download-section. The path of the screen shot is directed to modules/mydownloads/.
Sorry, I don´t know how to modify it to the correct path.
I bet ya can help.

Thanks in advance

Marc

Hi Jen,

I have to agree, your themes are really good stuff.
Isn´t it a waste to keep all these goodies to yourself.
Don´t you want to share them with someone who hasn´t the faintest idea of creating such beauties.

Keep on the good work.

Hi,

that´s a marvelous idea to make it work in XOOPS!!!!

Quote:
try to use moodle or claroline or segue

I´m wondering why did you choose moodle and not one of the others?

Claroline is full of features and...
Quote:
Claroline has been designed for a 20.000 students university. Today, more than 200 organisations use this tool in 20 languages, 40 countries and help to improve it day after day.

So there is a lot of help out there, that I can´t see for the other two.

Not that I prefer one, I try to find out your reasons.

Are you already working on it?

yep,
- php-debug - nothing to complain
- mysql/block-debug - showed some quieries (I´ve no idea what it looks like when it´s wrong.)
- smarty-template-debug - nothing

Hi,

I hope you can help me once again.
I´ll like to use myquiz v.2 german.
It is installed, but it won´t create a single new quizz or category.
I fill in the fields of the quiz administration, but after i submitted, all settings are gone.

Does anyone have a clue?

Hi Catzwolf,

I am glad to hear that this has worked but it still has not solved the real problem thouBut we are getting closer

I think, I don´t understand - and it´s not a language problem. Who is we?

Could you tell me which version of XOOPS you are using on your website?

It´s 2.0.5.0. I should update, shouldn´t I?

Allow me two more quetions:
- What do you think of XFsection, is it better (less buggy) indeed?
(these are allready two questions but I count them as one?)
- Will wfsection be a part of standard-xoop with the next release?

Thanks again, you are doing a hell of a job!! - wfsection si exactly what I was looking for.

Hi Catzwolf,
at first thanks so far for your help.

This is what I did.

//HTML Page Seclection//
echo "<div><b>"._WFS_HTMLPAGE."</b></div>";
//echo " <b>HTML Path: </b>".$htmlpath."<br /><br /></div>";
// $html_array = XoopsLists::getFileListAsArray(XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/'.$wfsConfig['htmlpath']);
//
// echo "<div><select size='1' name='htmlpage'>";
// echo "<option value=' '>------</option>";
// foreach($html_array as $htmlpage){
// if ( $htmlpage == $this->htmlpage() ) {
// $opt_selected = "selected='selected'";
// }else{
// $opt_selected = "";
// }
// echo "<option value='".$htmlpage."' $opt_selected>".$htmlpage."</option>";
// }
// echo "</select>";
// $htmlpath = XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/'.$wfsConfig['htmlpath'];
//
//
// echo " <b>HTML Path: </b>".$htmlpath."<br /><br /></div>";

WOW! It worked! Super, Fantastic. Well, to stay calm, I gotto try it, but as far as I can tell, the textboxarea and and serveral extra sections i.e. >>article url link, >>attachments and so on!
I´m curios, what went wrong? I mean, it worked at millions of other computers fine and I had this problem?

Thanks again. Great job!!!!
Bapapapa

In the german xoops-site they asked whether it is save to use wfsection or not. You´ve warned the community yourself. So what do you think?
