I have this same problem with the default theme of XOOPS 2.2. Has been someone able to solve this?

P.S.: looks good on Opera 8.5 too.

I found wmpdownloads. Is basically mydownloads but with permissions. I have to change the name and the urls manually but I think is better than re-index

Is this module compatible with XOOPS 2.2? Also, is it possible to upgrade from mydownloads without losing data?

Hi,

I'm developing a new version of my site that I will soon update to XOOPS 2.2.3. I was looking for a good hacked version of the Mydownloads module because I really need some features it doesn't have like permissions for publishing new downloads or a list of other related downloads, etc.

Do you know it there is one?

I know wf-downloads is good but I would like to keep the old urls because they are well positioned on the search engines. Do you know if there's an easy way to use wf-downloads wit the old urls?

Thx!

I came across another bug in 2.2.3 RC2 2nd snapshot.

It seems that the password verification in the registration process isn't working. Actually, looking at the code, I wasn't able to find any line regarding veririfation.

The only test on the password I was able to find was related to its lenght.

This is a big problem I think

Also I would like to ask the core developers if it is possibile to add a verification also to the user mail field. I noticed that many users make some typos...

Bye

Hi,
I've noticed that many users fail to provide a correct email address. I think the reason could be a mistake but some users often don't provide their mail address and write in an incorrect one just because it's a needed field.

Is there a way, in XOOPS 2.2 to insert a small description under the mail field like you can do with dynamic fields??

I think such a solution will prevent some incorrect registrations.

Thx

Any idea what is the best wiki module?

Hi,
at my site we have some projects and we would like to implement bug tracking and feature request modules for two software we are going to publish. Also wiki pages will be useful. For these last ones I've seen something in the module repository.

Is there anything out there that I could use for this pourpose? Also, what's the best wiki module??

P.S.: for bug tracking, ecc.. I could use external php programs not related with xoops, if there is any

Thx

Hi,
I have a virtual server with vhcs installed as Control Panel. I have installed postfix but I have some troubles.

Consider the name of the machine is "www" and consider also that the machine is member of the upyou.it domain ( that is my domain ). With those settings mails arriving to my address are visible only on the webmin control panel and I'm not able to download them with my mail client ( at least I don't know how to do this ). If I change the domain of the machine to something like upyou.it.local the mails arrives on the vhcs2 mailboxes and I'm able to download them with my mail client but the problem is that notifications don't work well because many mail server don't accept mail coming from upyou.it.local complaining this is not a real domain.

How can I fix this? Do you know how can I make XOOPS send mail with a different domain name??

Help please!
