Hi :)
On my XOOPS environment i addopted a system mainly built with custom blocks, this way i have everything in one big block that i can change simply by editing it's raw code via control panel. Anyways, in this custom block i wish to add a dropdown menu to list all the topics avaliable on the site (news topics), much like the "News Topics" built in block, only, i wan't it to be a part of my main block, so i went away and tried to copy paste the "News Topics" block's code to my own custom block, only to find that my custom block didn't understand the following term: "<{$block.selectbox}>" so instead of showing the dropdown menu itself, it would show me that term typed out, obviously; is there a way that i can add this dropdown menu to my custom block? please elucidate me, thank you.
ps. You may be wondering why i wish to have only one huge block for all the content, well it was the easiest way to make it go with the layout, various blocks would mess up my entire layout.
