Have been given job of building snack hedgehog for tonight's party. Have successfully installed half-cabbage in tin-foil, but have 'configuration' problem.

Do I install sausage + cheese cube + mini silverskin onion on ALL cocktail sticks, or... do I do half with sausage + onion and half with cheese + onion?

Hedgehog goes 'live' in about 4 hours. Any advice appreciated.

Strongly second that. IMHO image manager align options should at least include a button for 'none'. (and can we *please* have ALT text field, please!... )

Very nice. Boas Festas e Feliz Ano Novo!

Which I *hope* means 'Merry Christmas'... and if it doesn't, blame 'Merry Christmas in 70 Languages' at:

NewBB may be safe from a direct attack, but it's not as simple as that. Although the worm initially attacks vulnerable versions of phpBB,(earlier than 2.0.11) if you are on a *shared* server the worm can still deface your index.html or index.php files, even if you don't run a bulletin board at all.

Hosts need to forcefully patch vulnerable phpBB installations on their shared servers, otherwise everyone running PHP applications on that server is at risk. I have already emailed our hosts to find out what they are doing about it. I only hope they have been as pro-active as the host mentioned in this thread

As ackbarr says, this targets phpBB but can then affect other sites on the same server, even if you don't run phpBB. It's nice to see your host has at least responded to the problem. There's some more info here:

Many thx Brian. I'll work with the module some more and post at dev.xoops.org if anything else crops up.

I understand now that checked-out docs cannot be changed. I could however forsee a situation where someone might prefer a policy document to be 'unavailable' while it was checked-out for editing, simply because the content of the document viewable online would be incorrect.

Hi rifraff. I downloaded version 0.97 and installed it o.k., but I have a couple of questions.

1) How does document routing work?. I tried to route a document to a registered user and got an 'unsuccessful' error message. (To be honest, I'm not really sure what this feature does)

2) Any help on how the life-cycles feature works?

3) I figured that checked-out documents were not to be used because they were in the process of being updated. However, when I 'checked out' a PDF file, users with read-only status were still able to view it in Acrobat plugin - and save/print it of course. Is there any way to disable the link to the document when it is checked-out to prevent this?

Thanks also for the link. Is it best to post questions here, or at dev.xoops.org? Thx.

At the end of the day, my users want to create a table in an article without cutting and pasting HTML. Therefore I would consider the objective of adopting a capable WYSIWYG editor as a default component of XOOPS something of a priority.

It's nice to hear we may soon have a choice, but I hope the editor chosen will be available in all modules that employ a textarea field.

Moreover, whichever editor is selected, it is equally important that users can still access content using a browser that *doesn't* support your preferred method of WYSIWYG. For example, if you *force* SPAW on users, it may lock many of them out.

There is no 'temp' folder in cache/upload. Had to create one manually and CHMOd to 777.

If you decide not to add a related link and press 'cancel' you still get the pop-up message to 'enter a related link'.

Would be an idea to remove 'thumbs.db' from the install package. One less file to upload.

On the plus side, IMHO the article edit setup is great, because it allows a remote author to create their own summary and main text areas. Being able to upload a file for download is another invaluable feature. Enabling admin to create related links is also very useful. But best of all - the author-info blocks and author's picture in the article header are really cool!
