to run XOOPS on your pc use any server pack, like wamp, u will have XOOPS on localhost.

its not good for all people who want create new modules if they can't add them to repository, will it be fixed?maybe one person could approvate or not submitted files...?

i know this way, but last file in this repository was over 1 week ago. in news we can see lot of new modules created by people. it shoould be all collect into one good repository with automated install from XOOPS site. that's what i mean.

Hi, when im searching on xoops.org downloads i dont see many really good modules. maybe in XOOPS 3 or 4 or further u will add a modules manager with list of ALL modules created for xoops. i know that is hard to make but it could be very useful for all people, someone will only choose module from list and it will automatically install on my xoops. is my idea possible to realize? sry for my english, im learning it. cya!

hm...try to upload picture for example to www.imageshack.us or to ur server and than in news (allow HTML) and use <img src="path to picture"> ,try out this.
