You said you finally figured it out -- but you didn't say what you did to correct it. What did you figure out, could you post your solution please. Thanks.

1 Module for 1 Topic...to rule them all

I posted a question regarding handling a section of my site dedicated to all things members. I asked if there was a way to do it with WF-Sections but not have it under the WF-Sections part of the menu but actually on the first level of the Main Menu.

But, now here's my idea (tell me if it makes sense): Instead of using WF-Sections to handle this (since it is already handling all of my articles...movie reviews, columns, interviews, etc.) -- could I just try using another article management module and make that module dedicated only to this one topic, in this case, "member information."

For instance, could I use C-Jay Content to handle the member information pages? Does it make sense to use two different mods that basically do the same thing? And is C-Jay content a good mod -- meaning, is it being developed and reworked and are bugs being fixed...btw, is it buggy? I'd like to hear from anyone who uses it. And if not C-Jay, what's anoter good mod?

Is there a way to have everything connected with a section appear under it in the main menu?

I want a member's section. I want to have the member news, member information pages, how to join, and a member directory (that would look like a yearbook section) all under the main heading "members."

I'm using WF-Sections for articles and I know I could use that to create some of this stuff, like the how to join and member information pages, but it would appear under the WF-Sections heading in the "main menu." I would like it to appear under the "members" section of the main menu. Is there anyway to do that?

Moving from one server to another

I volunteered to re-design a non-profit group's website that I belong to and I decided to use the XOOPS CMS after a long debate. Thanks to everyone that has helped me develop the site over these last few months. I'm almost done and ready to move my new site I have created for them on to their server. I have built the new site on my own shared server plan. How do I move the new XOOPS site that I have created on to their current server?

I spoke with the hosting plan that they use and it is XOOPS compliant (though they do not have XOOPS on their site right now). But the versions are not quite the same as what I have on the test site that I have built. My test site has: Apache 1.3.31; PHP 4.3.7; and MySQL 4.0.20 - standard. Their plan uses: Apache 1.3.27; PHP 4.3.4; and MySQL 4.0.15.

What are the exact steps I have to take to move my test site to their site?

Thanks to everyone that has helped me out so far.

Is there a way to add a return space between article items in the WF-Sections Recent WF-Sections Block? Right now they get a little hard to read and I would like to add a return under each item.

I have a question about removing backslashes from News postings. I typed some quotation marks in a news item I posted (News Mod 1.21) and it added "\" whereever there were " or ' marks. Why does this happen? I manually edited them out

I would like to add a page to the XOOPS module, Members, but I want the page to also show up in the main menu under Members as a subheading. Can it be done? And what's the best way to do this?

I added a custom block to my members page but now I want to edit it. When I go to System Admin/ Blocks I do not see the custom block that I added there. What gives? Am I looking in the wrong place? How can I delete it?
