AS for making it the default editor, we'll make it possible to select a default editor, whether it is Koivi or SPAW or HTML Area, or any other solution.

This is very good. So we can choose which editor to be used. I think this will be available with X2.1/2.2. I'm looking forward for the first beta of 2.1

As far as I understand from this, we can use it for free because of GPL. But I'm not an GPL expert, and may be interpretable in different ways.

Taken from SPAW FAQ:
http://www.solmetra.com/en/disp.php/en_products/en_spaw/en_spaw_faq

My company would like to use SPAW Editor in content management system we are developing. Are we allowed to do that?

SPAW Editor is released free of charge under GNU General Public License (GPL). So as long as you use it in a way compatible with the terms of GPL you can use it, otherwise you can obtain SPAW Editor under different terms. In case you are not sure if your intended use is compatible with GPL check out the GPL FAQ. In short you are required to release the source code of your work based on the SPAW Editor if you distribute your software in any way. Please send your inquiries to spaw@solmetra.com

SPAW for Gecko will be available for Mozilla browsers at the end of this year. I think SPAW is better than Koivi with built in Image Library and Upload features. Is it possible to use SPAW v1.1 with X2.1/X2.2 as default editor?

Ok. I got how to do it for a module. But I want to do it globally for the complete site. So every page should have this. But I don't want to do it for every module. Which template should I modify?

Markus,
Thanks for reply and help but $variable will not have a constant value like /modules/news/index.php?x=1. It is only an example. I want to pass last part of the current URL (after XOOPS ROOT or XOOPS PATH). How can I do this?
Thanks

I want to pass a variable to theme.html, how can I do this:

For example current URL is:

http://www.mysite.com/xoopsroot/modules/news/index.php?x=1

then I want to pass a variable with following value:
$variable = /modules/news/index.php?x=1

How can I do this. My aim is to put some links in theme.html like that:

http://www.mysite.com/xoopsroot2<{$variable}>
http://www.mysite.com/xoopsroot3<{$variable}>

Thanks
Best regards

Also IE 6.0 and Firefox 0.9 behaves differently. Some cases Firefox works but mostly IE does not work.

Hello,

I'm trying to make a web site in Armenian language and I want to use Armenian fonts to displaying in web browser. I use UTF-8 for encoding and I add following line in global.php file in language directory.

define('_CHARSET', 'UTF-8');

When I edit language files, It is ok, XOOPS displays Armenian fonts but when I enter something in News editor, it fails to display fonts correctly.

Is there any idea?

Thanks
