i thought of that before and disabled the online users block... it helps a bit, but not much...
i'm running it as a software-site at the moment testing it out, but i'm thinking of importing 1000+ downloads and guess XOOPS won't be able to handle the extra traffic...

Does anyone have an idea what kind of traffic XOOPS can handle? i'm currently doing 3000 uniques/day and XOOPS is seriously slowing down... I have a dedicated server p4 2,4 1gig ram...

I currently run a software site using XOOPS and import all downloads myself, but i just found this sitehttp://www.asp-shareware.org/pad/ that incorperates all downloads in 1 database which can be used to update software sites automaticaly...
