Hi Shiva when you have some time could you do the news block with the image as a thumbnail and if possible the choice of having more than 1 col of news showing?

Also please in the News Recent Blocks could we have the option to put in either 2 3 or 5 columns, instead of just 1. In the admin area, News has this feature already, which means if you want to start your home page with the News module it gives you the option to have the News teasers in either 1 or 5 cols.

Figuered it out! Works fine now all I had to do was to upload the Templates from the Cpanel.

Now regarding the News Blocks.

How can you hack the Recent News block to show the thumbnail also like it is in the News Index page as I need to have listed the blocks as I cannot start the home with the module News.

I have done all the updates and in the admin teh hack works great, in the edit file I see the image that was uploaded.....the problem is that the same image is not showing either in the thumbs and in the main article.

Any help please????

I have downloaded the latest version .3 of this wonderfull hack but still keeps on giving the error: modules/news/include/storyform.inc.php in llines 111 etc

So please is it possible to have a clean and updated version? so we can experience teh result that you had in your website

What akor__ said works by deleting those 3 lines. and yes you need to select the image again from the edit page.but the image is not holding or it is not showing up. If you go back to teh editing page you see that the image is not shown or is not picked up where it normally should stay on.

I cannot edit any pages errorFatal error: Call to undefined function: getfieldbyid() in .../modules/news/include/storyform.inc.php on line 111

Also I cannot see any images or thumbnails that should come up with the article.

Hope this module works please can you see how to fix this error?

I have managed to use RM MiniShop.
Please note that you need to have PHP 5 to work
Also you need to put the RMCOMMON in the root folder and not in the module folder
Lastly in the admin of the modules upload the module minishop as normal
