Thanx Predator,

That was exactly the info I was looking for.
To make this thread useful to others :

The value of '0' in the 'pid'-field indicates that the post started the topic.

Kind regards, Highlander

Hi All,

I am writng a conversion script from mpn -> XOOPS ()

I am trying to convert the forums to newBB2.0 and ran into a field called 'pid' in the xoops_bb_posts table.

Does anyone know what this field is for and what the data in it represents ?
My test data has yet to give me any clues.

Kind regards, Highlander

Thank you all for your comments and ideas,

After testing all the options given I have gone with php-stats loaded from a custom block.
I can recommend this solution for anyone looking for a complete statistics solution.

Kind regards, Highlander

Thanx Mithrandir !!!

If anyone is looking for a complete analysis of anything (?) I suggest giving PHP-stats a whirl.

I downloaded my copy here : Link

I beleive this bit of software will spit out just about all the statistical information about any php website. It has a built in export to excel so anything it can''t analyse you can create yourself from the logs ! Just brilliant.

Hi All,

My current site is MyPhpMuke and I am moving to XOOPS !
I am getting all the modules set up and writing the conversion script.

In MPN I had a module which tracked each user and entered the following into the db:

-time-current page-last page-ipnumber-username

It created a big list and I can analyse this and find out on which page users decide to leave the site or when they decide to register etc.? It is also used a lot to find out the activities of users who find it ammusing to try and break stuff or just be a nuisance.

Is there a XOOPS module out there which will do something similar ? Or do I need to write my own ?

Kind regards, Highlander
