Thank you Mithrandir for your swift reply. I had successfully installed XOOPS through my localhost (127.0.0.1) and I used MySQL as my database and APACHE as my Web Server,but I encountered this problem,when I browse the XOOPS through other computer on the network (http://192.168.0.21/xoops/) it only display all the text,button and textfield but it did not display properly the settings,css and correct background and font.

(http://192.168.0.21/xoops/)-> 192.168.0.21 is my IP address.

What shall I do to fix this error?

I am new to XOOPS and I found that XOOPS is such a great CMS, I'm having a problem, upon user's registration their data has been successfully added to the database but there is no email activation or confirmation that had send to them, what shall I do? can I remove the confirmation or activation?how?

I was having the same problem with Oesie, I am new to php and I found XOOPS was the best solution for a Content Management System. I want to have a Crime module. here's a short description what the module should do:


add/edit a Crime case such as: Rape,Theft,Murder,Homicide,Frustrated murder, Frustrated homecide.

add/edit a time what time the Crime had happened.

add/edit Crime Status:
New, Filed, Unfiled, Unsolved, Solved.

add/edit the policeman in-charge with the crime scene.

add/edit a precint number:
Precint 1, Precint 2

add/edit places or town.

add/edit profile of a policeman.

add/edit a picture of Wanted Criminals with profile.

Only registered users and administratore have the right to view and edit.

Any ideas what it should do. Is there anybody in here interested to create this module, or maybe it already exists?
