Works! Thank you very much.

I hope this gets fixed soon. I don't think my PHP version is too old as Ghia said in the other thread.

Is'nt 5.2.x supported by Xoops? My server have PHP 5.2.6.

Off topic: It seems I can't edit upload a new avatar here at Xoops.org. "Failed opening directory with write permission: /home/xoops2x/public_html/uploads/avatars".

I would. But I don't have a Sourceforge account. Maybe a good idea to create one?

The strange thing is that it seem to work on my XAMPP install. But not any of my "live" sites.

Users can't update their avatar in 2.5.0!

I have a lot of "system avatars" on my site that users can choose from. But after you have selected another one from list the site says "Your Profile Updated!". But after that it still shows the old one.

This is not a permission problem. I have checked my Apache logs. And no errors when debug mode is turned on.

I see that Xoops.org have the same problem.

Yes, I have run the file check and all files are correct. I also did a clean install on the same server to see if it works. And it does.

So something must have gone wrong during the upgrade process. But the upgrade script showed no errors.

I see that you also have the problem with fields that appears in the wrong order. The "from name" and "delievery method" have switched place on your installs. But I don't think this has anything to do with the mailer problem.

Ok, I have spent hours on this with no luck.

The mailer doesnt work! I think the problem is in database somewhere.

I've tried everything I can think of.

* Cleared cache.
* Updated the system module.
* Checked all files with checksum.php.
* Checked the details in smtp setup 100 times to be sure the details is correct.
* Repaired database tables.
* Manually added the smtp settings in xoopsmultimailer.php.

Any more ideas to try with?

Here is another problem I have after upgraded my site to 2.5.0.

Everything in the administration is in wrong order. All icons, fields etc..

It doesn't matter for me as everything seems to work as it should. But I wonder why it happens?

The buttons for example:

Same problem for me. Still no fix?

Removing loadModuleAdminMenu(5, ""); from visibility.php is not really a fix.

I think this is a bug in the profile module. I have made a a lot of tests. (with different php versions, os, clean install etc).

And.. If you have created a custom group, then the user in that group can't edit or view his or any other users user profile even if the permissions is set right.

I have the exact same problem (same php errors too) after upgraded my site from 2.2.3 > 2.5.0.

I haven't changed anything in the mailer setup. And I'm 100% the settings is correct as it works from my local XAMPP setup. Both versions is 2.5.0.

I noticed one thing. The order of the fields is not in same order in the administration? Maybe a bug?

Thanks! "All types" was the problem.

I can't believe it. I played with this for hours and really thought I had tried everything. I feel so stupid.

I just updraded my site to Xoops 2.5.0 without problems (debug shows no errors).

Now I can't figure out how to place out blocks that comes with the modules.

For example, the videotube module. There is many blocks that comes with the module. But I can't see them in the block administration.

What am I doing wrong?

I can play and place the custom and core blocks without problems.

The videotube is just an example. I have problems with all modules.
