so I'm ain't the only one who hate W3C for reporting "&" as an error.

But if you use &*amp; you will get rid of the problem

(remove the star "*", it's only there so it wont show up like a "&" in the message.)

W3.org reported 240 errors on my site
Lucky Xoops.org has only 11http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.xoops.org

This is something module-developers should think of :)

And..

-> "Send this story to a friend" form, instead of the use of a mailclient.

-> "Spotlight" for Big Story block and automatic hiding if it's no big story that day.

-> Permit everyone to edit and make correction(s) with an article, but every correction will need aproval. Correction(s) will be bolded or in another color so it will make it easyer for the approver to see what corrections is made.

-> Two different sized pics - thumbnail and fullsize, thumbnail on the frontside and fullsize when a user open the story.

"News" is already a great module, but even the best can get even better

None module is awful, it's just that some of them not have made it to the top yet ;)

Ok, don't worry
Can you just share with us what you would like to see in the actual module ?

With the module "News"?
Not much at this time, News is a really great module already. But I'll guess everyone have their own meaning about everything.

-> Maybe the rating of each article could be shown on the summary, like it's done with AMS.

-> Article relations is missing (unless it's just me who haven't figured out how and where to turn this function on), for instance:
You are writing a story about a bank robbery, one year later the same bank gets robbed and you write about it again .. when the users read the latest story they will be offered a link to the story about the first robbery.

-> Optional subtitles

-> Article catagorys could be better, as it is today it's not really catagorydisplay.. but purging of news you won't display. (not a good explanation, but you understand what I mean). Catagory section would maybe be better.

-> Template selection for articles and individual css like with
Magazine, and some other functions like protecting content with ssl (haven't figured out all about the encryption-function yet, but it sounds great) would be nice to.

Yepp, your right Herko. The News module is a really great module (one of the best), but mention Cutenews was mostly just to give you all some new ideas, though Cutenews has a nicely admin panel. I love competition between the developers
I've also tried the Magazine module which, upon my upinion, was a bit unorganized.. BUT it has many nice functions. Maybe the developers of News and Magazine should work together and create a even better module ;)

Who can spend some time to adopt/make these modules?

QUIZ-MODULE
I have been looking, looking and I'm still looking for a good quiz-system, I didn't like any of the quiz-modules I found :'(

They are ok, but not as good as they could be. I'm searching for a quiz-module where the visitors can see how many questions to go in percent, count and graphicline.
The quiz-system must also show a "hall of fame" page at the end of the quiz where the usernames and score is counted.
Instead of using statistics like: "Bananadude - 10/10", it would be better if each correct answer also/or gave some points.. i.e. 100 points for every correct answer will give a user 1000 points for a 10/10 quiz.

The quiz have to be multipage capable, and some other statistics would be fine.

If anyone want to make a quiz like this or improve some of the modules allready created (not only for me, but for our whole Xoops-family ;) ) then you should take a look at FunQuiz (click on Play FunQuiz ...duh!.) and those quiz over at OpinionWorld for getting some ideas.

SERVEY-MODULE:
Haven't found any good enough module for this either (I know I'm fussy, but the reason for asking about these stuff isn't only for my merit.. but for all of you, and for giving you programmers some really good ideas).
If you have seen the survey-system QuestBack have built/uses then you will see what the possibilitis are, and what I'm searhing for. Sign up for a free demo and you will recieve login-details by email (be patient, I had to wait almost 24 hours).
Here is a client demo:http://response.questback.com/HegnarOnline/Ye5XzPSn0L/
..it's in norwegian, in the first textbox you have to enter a random e-mail
It's nice from the client side, but it still could be some better, anyway it's the adminside I really really LOVE, it's incredible!

NEWS-MODULE:
We allready have some good news-modules, but one more wouldn't hurt anyone ;) What about adopting CuteNews? It's a very nice news-system written in php!

OTHER:
WebWizGuide have some great systems, did I hear anyone whispering adopting? NICE! =D
Note: WebWizGuide does only provide the code in asp :(

Well thats all from me, for now , maybe someone has got a great idea by now? ..go on and make som nice modules for all of us ;)

* * A big hug to all of my friends out there, my mom, dad, my brothers and of course.. MY SISTER! ...if I had one.. ok ok ok.. I have no friends, hmmmm but ..I've got XOOPS =) * *
