Ok, so I managed to weasal my way into admin and turn on php debug.

Now on the front page it load this at the bottom of the screen:Quote:

so it looks like there is a problem with my include/common.php file on line 185.

When I turn on MySQL/Blocks debug, the popup is blank.

And when I turn on smarty templete debug I get a pop up with a bunch of stuff, but doesn't tell me anything.

So I am think the problem lies in the common. php file on line 185.

Does what it is refering to as line 185 include the commented lines, or is it line 185 not counting the comment lines?

Login Problems.

So I know this has been covered before, but none of the fixes in the other threads work so here I am asking what to do about this.

Problem:

When I login to my site, it shows the redirect and goes back to index.php, and all looks well. I noticed there is now a ?PHPsesionid=76549776896447609875 after index.php in the address bar, and do rememberit before, but it could have been there.

If I try to go anywhere else on the site it is like I never logged in.

Any suggestion?

Can I turn this off somehow so I don't have to go through ever module in the directory and empty 100meg of this stuff weekly?

No, becasue i'm not using newbb2 on my site yet.
The co-owner of my website won't let me upgrade on account of when ever he is browsing this forum on xoops.org it loads like this.
He did say that if he refreshes it loads ok, but he shouldn't have to do that on every page as he is browsing the forums.

I am sure it is something on his end cause it works fine for me, was just trying to figure it out and hope someone here might could help me do that so I can upgrade our site to the newest version.

They will work with a bit of messing with. I use code I find on the web at various places. It takes a while to get it like you want it though.

If only I could figure out how to put the search box in a drop down I would be set, but apparently no one on here has done that before.

So I started with the 7dana-round theme and am modifing it a bit and was wondering how I could make it where instead of the search box there would just be a text link for search and when you hover over it with your mouse it drops down like the search on newbb2.

Any suggestions?

I can't help you much with the ftp as I need to be looking at it.

I think it would be a lot easier to do it through the administration menu of your XOOPS site instead of ftp.

Leastwise now you can just copy and paste.

By default temeplate I mean the one you are useing, not the one titled default. If you are using the one titled default you will need to clone it, and then make your changes to the new template set and set it as default.
