I'm working on a new website (removed URL).

It's in the early stages of design and I've run into a problem that I haven't fully wrapped my head around.

If you visit the site, you'll notice that the light-colored center does not extend all the way down to the footer. I would like it to.

BTW: Never mind the reddish orange bars. I have them there just for my own reference.

Does anyone have any ideas?

[edit]
I should probably also note that the background color of the body is dark green so that the columns on either side extend to the bottom of the viewport.

If I make the background of the body grey, the center looks as it should but then my columns don't extend down on short content.
[/edit]

Just to be clear, for this hack to work, it requires Apache to be compiled with the RewriteEngine module.

How would one go about determining if their hosted site has Apache compiled with the RewriteEngine module, short of asking the hosting service themselves?

If you get "RegisterGlobalsOn" written on the screen, it is on

And when you perform this test and see that it is on, how do you go about turning them off when you're not hosting your own site?

Consider that I know very little about PHP, and thus Register Globals.

If you'd like, post the relevant snippets of code where you uncommented out the lines. If you're problem exists because of a problem there, we should be able to spot it.

I've updated my 2.0.6 files using the information on the wiki and have absolutely NO problems at all.

Brash -

Where did you find information about Coppermine supporting media files such as video and flash movies? I went to their SourceForge site but didn't see any mention of this support in their release notes for the previous 3 releases.

Thanks!

As mentioned twice in the preceding messages in this thread, including the post right before your message...

http://wiki.xoops.org/wakka.php?wakka=XoopsAutoLoginHack/ gives instructions on how to enable to auto-login. It's a matter of uncommenting some lines in a few files. Follow the instructions and it works beautifully.

Thanks! This works just as I had hoped the "Site Info" block would. Matter of fact, this code looks quite similar. Thanks again.

It?s kind of like me taking DMS, liaise or someone else's module, fixing a few bugs then releasing it under a different'ish' name. I am sure the authors of them modules may not be too happy about it either.

Understanding what you insist, I have no idea why you need to insult the author of Liaise... I do not correctly know who originally developed "Contact" module, though it seems to be done by Ono Kazu. And I don't think Liaise infringes the GPL, as far as I know.

Um, look at what you quoted from Catz and then how you responded. Do you see any inconsistencies?

Catz never disrepected the author of Liaise. He used the module in a hypothetical example. Further, he was arguing the point that it WOULD BE disrespectful for someone to... Oh nevermind, just re-read what he wrote. Not as hastily this time.

Sure is.

Go to your Administration menu. Select "System Admin". Select "Modules". On the resultant screen, find the column titled, "Order". Throw numbers in there to indicate the order you want the modules listed and then click "Submit".
