One more Issue

I changed the default
"_MD_PDD_NUMBYTES", "%s bytes" with "KB" in language file so now it shows "File Size: 840 KB"

But there is one problem.
It works fine as long as I keep file size upto 999.
So it shows "File Size: 999 KB"

But when I increse it like when I add a file with Size "1500" it Gives "File Size: 1.5 KB"
It should be "1.5 MB" or "1500 KB"

What should i do to solve this ???

A little Help with - PDdownloads

Hi,

I m using PDdownloads v 1.0 and so far its working without any problem.

Just a little thing I want to change. That is when downloading any file it opens a new window (have seen this only with PD).
How can i disable this so that the download starts in the same window just like any other download module.

Don’t know why but looks like this kind of request is being ignored again & again.
I don’t know whats the big secret in it. If this is just a slightly modification than I guess there is no harm in sharing this great hack.

Hi again ,

I can just hope that someone from DEV will be able to see this thread and then might like to give a solution.
I tried everything that i could, Spotlight module & Blockies, but cant get this with any of them.

I think this can be done with a little modification of Recent News Block (1.3.11). But this is all what i think. I need to have some help here. I m a complete Noob and i dont know much PHP or HTML. Everything that i have done so far is just coz of this great community. So will someone will be kind enough to help me out there ??

May be someone from DEV team could have a better answer for that.
I searched in the forum and found many topics about it but every time the solution to this thing was missing.

But i cant find anything there.

If some Dev member is seeing this thread, Please, Please, if its not possible at least you can reply so that people like me think of some alternative.

And i want to show 5 latest news from each topic in the main page. I looked in the forum in detail and got many threads but i am unable to do it.
If i am to edit any template file, than which file and what exactly to edit??

I m running News 1.3.11 and XOOPS 2.0.13

I dont want to have "Newsletter" thing just want to display Five Latest News from each Topic ( 2 rows & 2 columns), It will be great if i could show the Topic Icon as well, But anything close to it will also work.

I put this request in the thread HERE but was unable to get reply there.

Please help me, i want to finish everything before my studies started again.

I was about to start a new topic. Then i found this thread and this is exactly what i was looking for.

Any idea if this has been done ? ?

It will be like a Dream Come True for me. But as long as I know, this is not possible yet.

May be someone here will be so generous to spend some time and came up with something.

Also I did try the module myself. Its works fine but it limits some great features that can be no more done as a module to XOOPS, (At least for me they didn’t) .

I have few other options ( no integration) will tell later.

PHP warning with PD-Downloads

Hi,
I dont know if this is some problem or something coz i just noticed that when i turn on PHP debug.

I m using XOOPS 2.0.13 and PD-Download V 1.0

When i m on Control Panel Home page & Every other page i see this


Warning [PHP]: array_intersect(): Argument #1 is not an array in file modules/PDdownloads/xoops_version.php line 78

And when on Pd-Download admin page i see this


Notice [PHP]: Use of undefined constant _AM_PDD_ABOUT - assumed '_AM_PDD_ABOUT' in file modules/PDdownloads/include/functions.php line 691

Is this something normal ??
Or i have done something wrong ?

Help me .. Coz i dont even tell if its an error or just a warning message.
