Thanks for the quick reply. I found out that I have some files missing from the class folder. That removed the errors. I now have a blank screen with no error with page_configsite.php at the address bar.

Can you help please.

Thanks

Hello Support

I have just installed XOOPS 2.3.3 on a site I was building. I moved the xoops_lib and xoops_data to a private folder. Everything installed fine until I reached the last step. I have even chosen a username and a password to use for loging to the XOOPS site when I got the error below:

Warning: require_once(/home/xxxxxxx/xxxx/xxxxxx.com/user/htdocs/class/xoopssecurity.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxxx/xxxx/xxxxxx.com/user/htdocs/include/common.php on line 97

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/xxxxxxx/xxxx/xxx.com/user/htdocs/class/xoopssecurity.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear-php5') in /home/xxxxxx/xxxx/xxxxxx.com/user/htdocs/include/common.php on line 97

The address ishttp://xxxxxxxx.com/install/page_configsite.php

Can you please help.

Kind regards

Cabdi_uk

Thanks Ghia.

I found an errant script that modified the index.php withhttp://*********/q/urchin.js. After deleting this all seems to be fine.

Thanks

Thanks Ghia.

I have created the info.php file and copied to the XOOPS directory. I could access the file Iinfo.php giving me lots of information about the server configuration, etc) even with the
.htaccess file uploaded though i could not access any of teh images within uploads folder or even the main web site. I get the error message:

Internal Server Error

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

I have copied this (php_flag register_globals off ) onto a notepad and saved it as .htaccess. I uploaded the file onto my htdocs\ folder as this is my only directory and again got the same error message. Thanks for your efforts - I will appreciate if you can help.

Not sure where my previous posting is gone.

Thank you very much Ghia and Stefan for your helpful comments.

I removed the custom modules I created and its all working now. Much appreciated.

Ghia, as per your enquiry, all I have put in the .htaccess file is:

php_flagregister_globals
off

I edited it in notepad but saved as .htaccess before copying it to htdocs\ my web site crashes with the error message below:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
