Modules outside of XOOPS

HI,

I was considering whether you can use the XOOPS Modules also outside of XOOPS, for your own homepage for expamle. (of course with copyright etc.)

Is it hard to re-programm a Modul to fit your homepage, did anybody do it yet??

Thank you for your posts in advance!

Event Guide 2

I have Event Guide (I think 2.2.4) installed! Everything working fine with the modul! But when I make an reservation I have to type my e-mail! Everytime I click on submit, I get an error:

Could not send E-Mail!

Could that be because the mail() function in php is disabled on my webhosting server? If yes how can I stop the Modul sending E-mail! I just want to make an Reservation, and dont get this error! any alernatives..

i really like this module..I hope someone can help me!

(Sry for my english, dont really get support on the german XOOPS site)

Re: Main Menu

actually I edited the system_block_mainmenu.html

here:

<table cellspacing="0">
<
tr>
<
td id="mainmenu">
<
class="menuTop" href="<{$xoops_url}>/"><{$block.lang_home}></a>
<!--
start module menu loop -->
<{foreach
item=module from=$block.modules}>
<
class="menuMain" href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/<{$module.directory}>/"><{$module.name}></a> <{foreach item=sublink from=$module.sublinks}>
<
class="menuSub" href="<{$sublink.url}>"><{$sublink.name}></a>
<{/foreach}>
<{/foreach}>
<!--
end module menu loop -->
<
class="menuMain" href="<{$xoops_url}>/school.php">School</a>
</

Re: Main Menu

Thank you very much for your detailed answers! But, I think I didnt express myself righT!

I have one Block "the Main Menu"! There I have 2 Links! 1.) Home 2.) School ! <-- all under 1 Block!

Now I want for example that only registered Users are allowed to see "Schools"! Yu cantt set that in the Administration Panel as far as I know! You can only set, that the whole main menu Block is only allowed to acces by registered users!

I hope you know what I mean..

One idea was to creat a new block! I tried that, but I couldnt link the new block!

Thank you so far..
