Hi,

I'm using XOOPS for some time now with nice results but there's one thing that still bothers me: the content modules.

I've used AMS and smartsection which are great but the modules use a very directory-looking type of structure.

I found that Mastop Publisher did a great job on this one! Ilove the module with the menu block and the user friendlyness, BUT!... it seems there's no way to get your page tags inserted in the pages. Now what's the use of creating pages if there's not even keyword or page descriptions in the source of your pages?

Is there a module out there which is comparable with Mastop Publisher but does have tag creation facilities?
Or does anyone knows how to add keywords and pagedescriptions to Mastop Publisher ?

All suggestions and tips are welcome!

Cheers,

Edwin

Hi,

Never encountered this problem and got a few sites where all the content is produced in Mastop Publisher.
I've found out however, that depending on the theme you use, Mastop (menus and content) do tend to behave differently. ( see for instance my new topic:https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=60156&start=0#forumpost268992

Maybe you're problem is the combination of theme and Mastop!

Cheers,

Edwin

Mastop publish: drop down menu problem

Hi,

I'm using Mastop Publish on a few websites and depending on the theme you use, the drop down menu tends to give problems.

If you have a look athttp://www.stlucia-southafrica.com/
and you hover over the main menu titles going to their submenu dropdown menus, it happens (NOT ALL THE TIME) that this becomes a " catch me if you can" game.

While on other websites ( where I use another theme) there's no such problem.

What I do see is, that on all the sites where the menu acts weird, there is a space between the main and the dropdown. Hovering over the menu, it happens that the "gap" between the main and the submenu, makes the dropdown to close.

I'm sure that this has got something to do with the combination of menu css 'es of the theme and mastop publisher. But how to solve this now ?

Can anyone have a look into this ?
I've sent feedback to mastop a few times already but up till now, no reaction. It's a pitty cause this is one great module !

Regards,

Edwin

Hi,

Can't figure this out:

I'm using the ISometric theme on my site (under construction)http://stlucia-southafrica.com/

The buttons of the global navigation show these type of titles <theme_home>, <theme_module1>, etc.

Ive tryed to change this in the globalnav.html file, but then the page doesn't load anymore ( maybe I just changed the wrong part of the code lines)

Can anyone help me ?

I've added the globalnav.html below because I think I will have to make the changes there anyway.

Thanks

Edwin

<ul>
        <
li><a href="<{xoAppUrl}>" accesskey="a"  title="<{$smarty.const.THEME_HOME_DESC}>"><{$smarty.const.THEME_HOME button}></a></li>

Hi,

Is there some sort of manual available for Mastop go2?

Can not change the widht of the blocks,
Can not insert the generated code into a Mastop Publisher article etc...

Trying to insert the code in an article generates the following error:
----------------------------------------------------------
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /xoops/modules/mastop_publish/admin/index.php could not be found on this server.

Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.getset2go.com Port 80

All advise welcome!

Edwin

Hi,

Sorry if this question is not on the right thread, but I wasn't sure where to submit.

Anyway,

I've been looking forward for a module like EFQDirectory 1.0 RC2 and i would like to find out if the module can already be used in a production site?

If not, is there any estimation on when the first release is targeted ?

Don't wan't to be rude asking this, it's just that I rather wait for some time for a well working directory than starting with an article module.

Thanks for your efforts on a module that would make XOOPS far more versatile than it is already!

Hi,

I'm using the 7-dana soft template on one of my sites.

The side and center column are centered vertically wich means that depending on the length of an article, the left menu moves down or the centerblock moves down from the top of the columns.
A good example of what Im talking about, you can see here :
http://africanwanderer.co.za/xoops/modules/liaise/index.php?form_id=2

Where and how ca I set both columns to verticaly line out at the top of the column so that my menu or article content don't hang halfway the page ?

Thanks

Edwin
