Thanks for that link trabis! That solved the problem. Now I wonder if there would be a way to possibly break the comments up into different sections depending on which module the comments were left on? So that way you could have the recent comments block showing "Articles" and then a certain number of comments from that module, "News" and a fre comments from that one. I hope that makes sense. I'm going to take a look into it.

I have heard about this module but never really looked into it. I will have to check it out. Thanks.

I use tufat's Flashchat on one of my XOOPS sites. It won't display within your theme or anything, it will open in a new chat window, but you can integrate it with XOOPS so that your users will be able to log in with their XOOPS username and password.

This is the link to it, it costs $5 USD i believe

Well the modifying of the templates really doesn't seem to be the problem. It still generates a new topic for each comment unless someone specifically clicks on "reply" to a users specific comment at least from what I could tell after looking at the specific forum after doing the import of a module.

I didn't try to create a new comment to see how it would list them. Maybe the problem is in the importing, perhaps if the first comment to an item was used through the d3forum comment integration all of the comments on that item would stay under one topic. I will experiment with this and report what I find.

Unfortunately the d3forum module displays the comments exactly the same way as the core "recent comments" blocks. The "recent topics/posts" blocks from the d3forum are still one for every new comment so it doesn't compile them to only show the replied topic only once with a link to see all comments on that item.

Interesting. I'm going to attempt to use that while still keeping cbb as my main forum as I've grown quite fond of it. Thanks for the reply.

What would it require to make the "recent comment" block display the comments more like the forum. Such as if something has 5 comments, it would display the title of that comment and then group all comments on that particular item together. The goal of this would be the ability to display comments on more items instead of having all of your recent comments be about the same posted item. Would this be very difficult to achieve?

Any suggestions?

System mail setup bug and solution

but i could not find where the file was located. Maybe that has something to do with your problem. If it does please let me know if you located / fixed it.
