Adding a block that reads a .txt file

Heya's,

is there a way that i can get a block to read a .txt file via PHP or HTML code?

I have tried several php scripts of the net but none seem to work.

The .txt is in the main directory(http://awdclan.com/whoisonirc.txt )

Can some one PLEASE help me.

Hey,

i have the Symantec Alert Module running on my site, BUT i want it to open the links in a new window when you click on them, i have tried editing the symantecalert_block_alertblock.html in modules\symantecalert\templates\blocks by adding the line target="_blank" in every <a> tag. so <a href="urlhere"></a> becomes <a href="urlhere" target="_blank"></a> but it still doesn't work.

Can someone please help?

Heya's all.

Does anyone know how to be able to get XSAS to let people on the net to access the site? I have forwarded port 80 yet i get a 403 Error "You are unauthorized to view this page.....

can some one help?

I have an error with being redirected, the redirect text is not central and it kinda makes the site look crap when it happens... is there a fix for it....

got this fix from looking through comments,

"Sorry, your password must be at least 3 characters long." - FIX

modules/profile/register.php
line #75

if (!empty($xoopsModuleConfig['minpass']) && strlen($_POST['pass']) <$xoopsModuleConfig['minpass']) {

change whateva is in after the && replace with strlen.

works for me.

Hiya,

i have a problem in my clan forums.

When someone posts a message it uses their "RealName" instead of their "username". So if they have not entered a "RealName" it comes up Anonymous or Blank. The obvious way would be to put their username into the Realname as well.

But... My Webmaster friends and I do not like these simple fixes. We like everything running smoothly.

Is their a fix for this problem?
