Extended Profiles Technical Help Needed!

When a new person registers, all their fields with apostrophes, etc, change from Bob's to Bob/'s. It saves that way. When I edit it, I can fix it and it will work fine. Please can anyone help me? It is creating an increasingly difficult problem for me.

I don't have a direct answer, but a suggestion. I make a lot of changes to my system, so I have a separate testing server. You might look into that! Good luck! M.

Programming Help Needed for PM!!

I would like to set up a button where a predefined message is PM'ed to another user. Does anyone know if there is a function call that I can make? If you know offhand, it would simplify my life and I would be eternally appreciative (for what it's worth).

Lance's idea worked great, but it wasn't quite so simple. I had to make some revisions to some of the programs to get the category ID to carry through so that when I referenced the main forum index that only one of the forums would show.

It happened to me and I think it has to do with when you uninstall a module, the module doesn't always clean up after itself (if you get what I mean) and leaves some records in the template table. XOOPS CHAT is one that did it.

That is very cool. I had a follow up question: If I just want to display the content that my PHP page produces in a block (rather than a link), can you suggest a way to do that?
