From the french XOOPS forum, it looks like this is impossible. Could anybody here confirm? Thanks in advance, JCMoriaud

How do you capture the RSS feed for comments of a XOOPS site?

Thanks in advance, cheers, JCMoriaud

Thanks. I would really appreciate an answer be the XOOPS team. It really worries me to have to go through 15 or so upgrades...

Could someone tell me what's best in this case? Don't be afraid, tell me if this is stupid!

I have an almost two years olf site running in V1 RC2... and I installed a V2 site in parallel in the same db, originally to host a photo gallery.

Now, I'm so happy with V2 I'm thinking to move everything to it. I was always concerned by the upgrades (I did some customizations - but I don't need them anymore because all is in v2 now), lack of php knowlege, theme not available in V2 (but I can change now), etc...

I wonder if there's a script available somewhere that would take my V1.rc2 extract and format it to upload in V2... without being obliged to do an in place upgrade?

Or is this silly? Thanks in advance, JCMoriaud

Just to let everybody know that I am really impressed by XOOPS v2.

I have an almost 2 years old site running v1 rc2... that works fine but that I never upgraded because of lack of time, not very confident with the mods I had done and theme not available in v2... I had tested v2 locally and loved it (see in this forum) but didn't remember how great it is.

I needed a gallery so I decided to install a parallel site in V2 in order to only host that gallery. The installation took me 10 minutes and in 15 minutes I had a basic site running. It rocks! It's clean, fast and so customizable.

Congratulations to the dev team and all people helping to make this cms a fantastic one.

Cheers, JCMoriaud
