for Smarty, you can call the debug console into the template:

<{debug}>

so you just should put this at the end of the theme template:

<{if $xoops_isadmin}>
<{debug}>
<{/if}>

For this to show only to admins.

FYI, to paste Dreamweaver HTML in XOOPS you must remove all head content and the body tag. In the code you pasted here, you didn't remove "body"

The best way I think is make things simple and self-explanatory. Change the plain "Notifications", that means almost nothing by a more understandable "Want to stay updated? Click here!"

A customer of mine changed "register" by "Receive our news bulletin, sign up here"

So this is ImpressCMS...

At this moment ImpressCMS seems fully compatible with XOOPS, and some of the changes are simply the changes we want to see in XOOPS. EXM admin panel, new default theme, editors integrated, handling of 404...

ImpressCMS developers would make me happier if they integrate this into XOOPS or XOOPS XM-XT.

So please stop screaming, there's nothing wrong working on a tentative branch (at this time, it's just a branch) at the same time you check how is XOOPS going on. I have one feet in Drupal, I'll have finished my second Drupal website in two weeks and I'm still here.

Sorry, I'd have to update this.

I consider my article finished. A version for advanced users could be fine, but it's unlikely I write anything in the next few months.

BTW, I'm not interested in XOOPS Cube at this moment, XOOPS forks are not interesting for me, as they don't make much difference. If any of these forks offered any killer feature such as full multilingual support, custom hooks like Xaraya, or CCK and Taxonomy for all content types just like Drupal, that would make a real difference.

I managed a congress with 2.2.3 in a shared hosting. It had lots of traffic (peak of 25,000 pageviews in a single day). I had to patch some bits because of login problems, but on the whole, it worked well.

If you find problems, you should look at the 2.2.5 patch, read what's new on it and consider going into it. If you're not having problems, it's safer to stay quiet.

If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Edit the template so there are only two choices, 0 (no) and 1 (yes).

Are these the right name of the modules as you have them configured in the "modules" section? Are these the name of the modules as they appear in the main menu?
