Poll module not working

I've installed Xoopspoll module version 1.

I'm can't add or delete polls.

Is there a newer version? Or a better poll module?

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.17.

I hadn't set the permissions for the news module in the system > Groups.

I tried creating the topics for each group, but it doesn't seem to work. In the news 1.55 module I have a topic (News) with a subtopic for News per group:

-News
--News group 1
--News group 2
--News group 3
--News group 4
--News group 5
--News group 6
--News group 7
--News group 8

I set the submit and view permissions so that all can post and view news in the main News topic (as for general news) and only their corresponding subtopic (private group news).

The problem is that people don't seem to have any access to the subtopics (post or view). They can view news from the main topic, but none of the subtopics (I get the "you don't have enough permissions" page).

Any ideas?

Thank for the advice, ipwgc. I upgraded and now I can edit my forums.

My only problem now (which should be easy to fix) is that the dorp down menus in the forum (forum options and search) don't drop down anymore). They used to work when I had newbb2.

Any ideas of what could be wrong?

I also can't edit forums (2.0.17). That seems to be the only problem.

When in the edit forum page I don't get any errors.

I tried changing form.php in class/xoopsform, but didn't help...

Has anyone figured out how to fix it?

xcGal: can users edit their own pics?

I've been trying to find a place in the config where you can let users edit/delete their own pictures. Is it there?

I'd like users be able to modify their own pics in public albums.

Is this possible?

SmartSection seems to allow permissions per story when you post from the administrative interface, but not from the regular submit article form which users would see...

Maybe after a nap I'll try to tackle adding the group option on the submit form.

Thanks, but I still don't see how this module does it.

The submit news page looks just like the old News module...

I can see that you can set permissions per topic, but not per story.

Am I missing a configuration option somewhere?
