How can I add a search function with drop-down box?

I want to create a search function in a module like “job listing module” with the drop-down the categories in the database. Then after user select relate data from the drop down box and system will follow the selected data to search the database with the relate data and display it. For example the search job functionhttp://www.CareerOne.com.au

How can I do that? Please teach me or where can find something simple sample!!!

Theme Layout problem?

I was download some Theme and use to use Xoop skin, but some theme layout are too small and not fit the web browser.
1. How can I to set out the layout to 100% to fit with the browser?
2 . Can I to change some color was set at the theme layout? How to change?
3. Some theme after I setup it, the main menu is the center, how can I to change to the left hand site ?

Please help me!! Thank you!!!

How can I use the Xdirectory module to set the layout like the"http://www.folsomliving.com/modules/xdirectory/ "
Yellow page fuction

like have a "Coupons" fucntion ?
and like the layout : Art and Collection(44)
then the subtitle Antiques,Artists,crafts and Hobbies

Have anybody know? Please tell me ! Thank you!!

Need Help About Email fucntion for Xoop

I was setup my Xoop system, the private mail is good, but every when I need to send email via the out site mail box , like yahoo or hotmail mail, the problem had being come out.

Is I forgot to setting anything ?

Please help me. thank you?

If I want to create a new function like search some detail.
How can I to do?
I was modify some format like the method in www.careerone.com.au the use can select to detail relate their want to search in file “db%3Ajobs_index.html”.

1. Which file I need to alter to do this function?
2. What I need to do if I want to bring some detail to next page for the system to follow the data was select by the user to search and select the relate data from the MySQL ?

For example:

1. Where can I to find the main control function file?
2. What is mean for this command line?
