why don't you use news block? you can change the theme for whatever you want to show, and you can place it anywhere in the board just indicate where to place in System->Blocks

using PHPEd to find the "?&?" characters before "<?php" of .php file that you make a direct download and then delete them, this happended when you modify a php file using utf-8

my xoop forum real path stay in X:\Forum\Xoop\html

and I created a Virtual Directory in my site (IIS) with name xforum that pointed to X:\Forum\Xoop\html

anything wrong here?

Hi everybody, I'm a newbie in Xoop, I have a problem after installing xoop on to my web server, it's return the following error message when I access my forum
"Script execution not allowed"

I'm using:
IIS 5.0
PHP newest version
Mysql newest version

Virtual Directory properties:
Can Read
Can Write
Can Execute

What's my problem? thanks for your attention!!
