XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea without header/footer

I was curious to know if it were possible to use XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea without having to use header.php and footer.php. I noticed that it only really "works" while including those two files (or rather just footer.php), but unfortunately that's not what I need for the module I'm (sort of) writing. The whole XoopsForm thing sort of throws me off as it is so once I've submitted the form, how do I post a rendered version?

I've searched quite a bit and found some great posts on implementing things I just don't understand lol.

Porting MKPortal's Blog

So I've noticed a number of posts and such regarding multiblog system for users and I've played around with PopnupBlog but there isn't relaly anything fully multibloggable for the users that suits a number of users request. I came across MKPortal a few months ago and have used it on a few sites of mine and REALLY like the blogging system there. Basically I'm wondering if that sort of blogging system could be ported over to Xoops. The blog system is part of the package that comes with the download if anyone is looking for the module itself.

Re: Removing /Modules

yeah...i'd pointed that out to my friend...and he's willing to accept that as an answer...some sort of redirection technique...he was just wondering if there was any way to maintain the /forum/ structure

Removing /Modules

A friend of mine asked if it was posible to get /modules/newbb to change to /forums, either by moving the module itself there or through some slight of hand mod-rewrite/iframe/include technique.

Disposable Email Port

I'd been looking at disposable emails for a while and was really curious about them. Unfortunately there's not a whole lot I could find on writing a system for them or opensource systems. I eventually found Anoninbox (http://anoninbox.sourceforge.net) and thought that it'd be a great project for the XOOPS community to port over. It'd allow for smaller sites with wildcard email forwarding to provide all their users with an email account without actually setting up an account. While it's understood that disposable email systems typically don't allow for sending of mail, it wouldn't be too hard to add (i don't think?) using the sendmail features of php. I'm vaguely thinking there might be some security concerns with such a module, but I'm sure those could be worked out during porting.

*shrugs* Just a thought.

Re: Extended Profiles & Email

Even just knowing where to make the modification would be helpful. I vaguely thumbed around today trying to find where the code is that checks the emails, but wasn't really sure where abouts to look. Anyone have any clue where it might be?

Extended Profiles & Email

I tried to search the best I could before I posted here, but is there any way to set it so that multiple users can share an email address? I was pretty sure there was an option for it, but I might have been confusing it with phpBB.

Re: Newbb block position problem and another question
