If you are looking for a webmail client, here's aversion of Squirrel mail ported to xoops.

Check out this thread, they have some discussion about some black pages. I think it was the language files that are missing( english i believe).I tried it out myself, its working ok but havent tested it much.

Kim,

I also want the header to be in flash, nice idea. Did you change anything besides the code u posted? in the CSS file maybe?

Ill try it out tinite.

Searched around a bit too, now using Flashchat. its not free ($5 to download script). Integrates very well with XOOPS and other CMS. Well worth it!!

Found the solution to my problem, see post above.

Files I downloaded still contain the original links to the one.ucberkeley site, I opened up the theme.html and saw that the link to the templates are wrong on the central blocks.

<{include file="ucberkeley_one/themeblocks/theme_blockcenter_r.html"}>

there are 3 entries like this, replace the ucberkeley_one with ucberkeley_liquid

Im with emaxhosting for about a month now. They have a special going on now, get the budget plan for $5.95 and they will double the bandwidth and storage for the entire life of the plan.

Xoops installs with just a few clicks thru Fantastico in the control panel. This is where I actually found xoops.

no problems so far.

One little question about the UCberkeley theme.

Why is it that when I use this theme my center blocks wont show up? Left and right blocks are fine. What am I missing?

Dopper,

I have the same problem, Im no good at PHP but tried to look for it anyways. I edited the file viewtopic.php under your newbb folder. look for something like this.

// newbb does not have nested mode

if ($viewmode == 'nest') {

$viewmode = 'thread';

------------------------------------

Replace the 'thread' to 'flat'

Be sure to go back to your General setting and change the "Default Comment Display Mode" back to nested.
Im assuming this change would send the view into flat mode when you select nested.

Worked for me .. with registered user logins but not with XOOPS admin login..
