Hello!

My page is written in Turkish (with Turkish characters and charset iso-8859-9). If there is "main menu" in the page, the page won't shown right (the coding will automatically translated to west europian charset and the Turkish characters are not shown.) But if i didnt take "main menu" in actual page it show the right coding.
How can i change this, that it shows always the right coding and charset?

THX

Look here, maybe you will find it here..
System Admin - Preferences Main »» Mail Setup

Mail Setup
FROM address
FROM name
FROM user

When the system sends a
private messagewhich user should appear to have sent it?

Hi guys!

I've a question to XOOPS programmer.
Who can help me pls, my ques is about the PM(privat message) and news system in xoops. Because of my hosting(i think so, maybe its a XOOPS bug?) i cannot write some Turkish characters in news or PM to other users.
The Turkish characters "ŞşĞğİı" cant be shown in XOOPS right. The XOOPS change it to other characters, charset west europian coding. İt will only show the characters, if i type the speacial characters in HTML codes like "& #350;"(without whitespace) for the Turkish character "Ş".

So how it would be possible, that i change the news, PM and other modules (NewBB works fine), that the characters typed normal will be changed automatically to the HTML codes format (only for the 6 characters!).

İs this possible?
Pls help..
THX

Oh sorry it seems to be that the HTML-Code of the Turkish characters are converted in normal letters in the forum. But the output by search of this characters are:
&# 286;&# 287;&# 350;&# 351;&# 305; (without blanks).

So, who can help me?

If a search my XOOPS site with special Turkish characters like "ĞğŞşı" i get the right search results but the characters are then shown in HTML-codes like,
ĞğŞşı

How can i prevent this and config my site so, that the right characters are shown in my language and not in HTML-codes?
I've used in global.php the right charsets but the problem exists yet.
Sorry for bad english..

THX
