Horacio,

Where did you get the javascript for your demo horizontal menu athttp://www.puntoflotante.com/tests/tema.html ?

It looks good, and is certainly a solid first step towards
getting away from the screen real estate hogging sidebar block menus.

mramsey,

I think the following code should do the trick. It worked for me.

<{if $xoops_isuser}>Welcome <a href="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php"><{$xoops_uname}></a>
<{else}>
<form action="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php" method="post">
<input type="text" name="uname" size="12">&nbsp; Username
<input type="password" name="pass" size="12">&nbsp; Password
<input type="hidden" name="op" value="login">
<input type="hidden" name="xoops_redirect" value="<{$xoops_requesturi}>">
<input type="submit" value="Login"></form>
<{/if}>

Cheers,

Gamut

Not sure if this is a bug in XOOPS or a 3rd party mod.

I did a search on this XOOPS site for the keyword "Legal"

It returned:

Legal
Terms of Use
(2003/11/23 21:29:40)
Licence
(2003/11/23 21:26:17)
Legal
(2003/11/23 21:24:14)

When I clicked each link in turn it returned the following message:

Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster
Error 404

Given that these items are showing up in search and they were datestamped only two days ago, I wondered where they disappeared?

Cheers,

Gamut

Hi Draven,

This is just a friendly bump on this thread.
I know you are a busy person, but your Toggle Sidebars solution is eagerly desired.

Draven,

It would be greatly appreciated if you could post how you managed to implement the javascript for toggling the sidebar visibility. I am sure I am not the only one out there who would find this functionality very useful.

Cheers,

Gamut

Thanks for responding.

I had not made any changes to the javascript or image files so it must be something to do with the way the blue_ipb theme is set up. I noticed that blue_ipb theme tables are much more heavily nested than the karate_redux theme.

I want to give users the option to expand/collapse (ie show/hide)either, or both, the left and right sidebar columns. Has anyone managed to implement this functionality for a karate_redux type theme?

I saw that www.bbpixel.com implemented this feature using the "blue_ipb" theme. In the thread https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=13842&forum=7#forumpost55761 tjnemez (www.mindhealth.ca) mentioned he modified the "blue_ipb" theme to use this feature.

I tried using the code from the "blue_ipb" theme in my heavily modified variant of karate_redux theme, but unfortunately it keeps giving an error "Line: 35 Char: 2 Error: Object required". As far as I can ascertain this error relates to the line:
document.body.style.visibility = "visible";

Any help or advice would be appreciated as my skills are limited to html and css, not javascript or php.

Thanks,

Gamut

Shine,

Thanks I looked at the link to Catzwolf's site, but there is no indication of when/if the module will get general release.

WJUE also mentioned he was going to release...

Quote:
Enterprise-X is a professional corporate/organization presentation module,
it allows you to easily present your organization: what you do, how you do it well, price info, testimonies, case studies, etc...,
with full customizable layout.

A beta version will be released soon including a set of templates designed by IMAGO (http://www.Imagocn.net/theme/)

It is nice that there are two potential mods for handling corporate website information. Now it is just a matter of when they will be released and what functionality each has.

Gamut

Wjue,

I see from your posted link and your site that this module has not yet been released because you are waiting for Imago to do layout work.

Any idea on release date?

Regards,

Gamut
