Hey Jonas. Thanks for your time and effort helping me out. I feel kind of stupid as I still cannot make it work , even though I've set it just like in your pictures. The mainlink and sublinks just disappear when I do that.

maybe it's your theme... i am using the lastest from 7dana for 2.0.15

Is it possible to change which modules appear or is module-linking in the main-menu 'compulsory'?

yes go to Control Pannel/System Admin/Modules.. here in the Modules Administration just put a 0 in the Order field for each module you want to hide...

by the way you can go to hotscripts.com and find a really cool javascript menu and put in XOOPS as a block..

anyway good luck

<p>the permanent and related shoild only differ in this way(i believe):<br>
related sub
menu's show wehn only on the page that their main link is.<br>
So being that the
mainlink is left blank then related sublinks will never show...<br>
that is why
you must use permanent..<br>
anyway here
are some screen shots of my block settings and config..</p>

Jonas: where exactly did you use the "trailing slash"? Or did you use it?

I saw this asked before but no reply's and now I have the same question...
Fresh Install of 2.0.15
When I click on Lost Password I recieve this email-

---------------
A web user from 00.00.18.14 has just requested a new password for your account at website.com.
You can get your new password by clicking on the link below:

http://website.com/lostpass.php?email=email@pacbell.net&code=b51e7

If you didn't ask for this, don't worry. Just delete this Email.
----------------

When I click on it it sends me back to the Login Screen..Then a few minutes later i recieve this email-

----------------
A web user from 00.00.18.14 has just requested that password be sent.
Here are your login details at website.com.

Username: reguser
New Password: 9ve41tia

You can change it after you login athttp://website.com/user.php.
If you didn't ask for this, don't worry. You are seeing this message, not 'them'. If this was an error, we are really sorry but please login with your new password.
------------------

Soo.. why the first email?

Thanks

Hey The Newbie i did it this way..
For Block Fornat I use "- drop down vertical"
I left blank the item Web Tools(as a Mainlink)
Then i used Permanent Sublinks for the sub items

you can see it HERE
