Hello.-
Probably this is a baby question but I've seen lot of times saying you "you must take register_globals ON".

I don't know what does it mean and what must I modify in order to configure modules wich require this permission on.

Hi!
I also had problems using this new forum. I'm not sure if I read the readme file, but I think my fear was if the writened messages could be erased copying the module files into the XOOPS Core forum.

Exists that danger or not?

Well, I have the same problem than you both. In my local server Apache it works perfectly, but not in the Red Hat Linux Server of my hosting.

Some friends who use Mozilla couldn't use it too.

It's a mistery :(

Many thanks everybody. The problem was that the day before of the problem I cleaned historial and cookies and I think I modified anything wrong. Nevertheless, tryed with some new cookies configuration and now it's all right.

System doesn't recognize me

Hello.-
I've tryed to accedd my website today, but when I get my nick and my pass, system says me "Thanks for get into this web..." but then ask me again for get the name and the pass. I've tryed to ingress one and other time, but it's impossible.

What can be wrong?

Hello.-
Some people has suscribed my web and now I want to do one of the users a forum moderator. I went to Admin>edit user and modified her status, but she can't nevertheless moderate the forum.

What can be wrong?

Ops, it was the problem. I saw at last that I must insert a javascript code, but I didn't know where. So, in the theme, isn't it?

Using PHP-Stats

Hello.-
Yesterday I installed PHP-Stats in my server and it was configured right, but the problem is that it doesn,t counts the visits.

It was installed on the root directory of the server and I configured it in order to "watch" my page.

What's wrong?

Does anybody knows how to install PHP Stats? I tried to do it as a normal module, but it didn't run. I've read sometimes it must be installed in a different way, but I've no found how to do.

Problems modifying MyDVD module

Hi! I downloaded MyDVD module some days ago and tried to adapt some fields in Spanish folder in order to convert it in a cinema database. So, I changed thigs as "Artis" for "Director" and so on.

So that, I saved the changes, I tried to upload it to Xoops, but it was impossible. There was no logo, no anything...

What am I doing wrong? In other modules I did the same and there was no problem...
