Just on time :)

I was looking yesterday for a article module,
But as I need one soon ( and I don't mean to presure you)
when will it be released?
A week?
A month?
2 months?
6 months?

Should I be waiting for it or not?

Thank you,

And this gets me to my second problem...
I changed that string but XOOPS keeps sending the mails with iso-8859-1 charset.

And I have edited my global.php file too.
So If anyone can tell me how I can tell XOOPS to use the new string I would be thankfull

I managed to find where to change the charset of phpmailer in order to send messages from XOOPS in the wright encoding.
It's file class.phpmailer.php(or something like that).
The problem is that even though I changed the charset XOOPS does not seem to update that setting.
So how to I update XOOPS ( I already tried updating the contact module) to use the new variable

Thanks
Nick

phpmailer charset bug

Hello,
I found this when I started getting mail on my machine:

phpmailer does not follow the charset of the site. Eg. in a non english site (in my case with iso-8859-7) phpmailer keeps sending messeges in iso-8859-1 charset.
Normally it should read the charset of the theme. So when changing a themes with a different encoding phpmailer should also change his encoding. Or when having a theme in none iso-8859-1 charset it should follow the charset of the theme and not keep the iso-8859-1 charset.
There is a file called class.phpmailer.php (or someting like that) where a variable of the charset is set. I guess it should change according to the charset of the site.
But although I changed it manully XOOPS keeps sending messeges in iso8859-1 charset. Maybe I dont know how to update XOOPS after editing class.phpmailer.php

Anyway my 2 cents

Nick

Looking a bit more into it.
I came to the conclusion that XOOPS does not pass on the charset wright to phpmailer
2 files seem to be responsable for this
1. xoopsmultimailer.php

There seems to be a line in the end that has to do with charset:
$formatted = sprintf('%s <%s>', '=?'.$this->CharSet.'?B?'.base64_encode($addr[1]).'?=', $addr[0]);

and
2. class.phpmailer.php

var $CharSet

so witch one is it :) ?

I am for some time now running my Greek language XOOPS site.
I was looking around for spell errors etc when I saw this:
I the contact module when I send a message it is enconded in iso-8859-1 although it should be in iso-8859-7(greek)
Here is a sample :

Both the theme and browser are set to iso8859-7.

So why Am I getting messages in iso8859-1 format.
What is causing this problem?

Thanks again

Hello,
When trying to delete an inactive user I get "Admin user cannot be deleted. (User: test)"

I go Search users-> (I leave all blank and only check) inactive users only ->( I get a list with inactive users) I check the checkbox of user "test" -> I leave delete as an option and klik on submit -> I get asked if I want to delete the user-> I klik "yes" and then I get the error
"Admin user cannot be deleted. (User: test)"

What is wrong?

PS I can delete the same user find from the "edit users" menu

Using XOOPS 2.0.6
